Captain's Log, 20 February 2014: Deviantart and Blizzard Entertainment have put up a design challenge for Diablo III. This as good a goal as any to push my skills to the next level. Challenge accepted!

Okay, it's been a while. :P But I haven't been completely idle! Just posted a sample of a Zbrush sculpt I'm doing following the tutorials listed on Nick Zuccarello's amazing blog. And I did it on an 'old' Motion LE 1600, to boot.  I think I'm hitting my limits on it, though, as it keeps shutting down whenever I try to do a 'subtract mesh' on it. Oh well, having a blast figuring out Zbrush's tricky interface and working on a tablet at the same time. Will post some more new stuff soon.

Man, where does the time go? Most of these entries are from an ancient, dusty 20 year old portfolio that didn't see much daylight until I stumbled upon a local Comic Book Boot Camp course taught here in Denver by the amazing Zach Howard ~Spacefriend-KRUNK (https://www.deviantart.com/spacefriend-krunk) through the Denver Entertainment & Art Design (D.E.A.D.) Academy (headed by the talented Zak Hennessey :iconLazarusReturns: ) Zach poked, prodded, praised and cajoled us into pushing ourselves to the next level.
